A third-party running event, organised by 'It's Grim up North Running', is taking place on Saturday 14th November 2026 from 8:30am until 11:30am on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

The event will be taking place between Bridge 226, Office Lock Bridge and Bridge 216, Owl Swing Bridge.

The towpath will remain open to the public as normal, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
