A third-party running event, organised by 'It's Grim up North Running', is taking place on Saturday 31st October 2026 from 8:30am until 3:00pm on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

The event will take place between Bridge 226, Office Lock Bridge and Bridge 216, Owl Swing Bridge.

The towpath will remain open, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
