Update history

Sat, Oct 3

Due to a failure of the pump serving Fosse Locks, water management operations in the area have been affected. To protect water resources and maintain safe navigation conditions, a temporary stoppage has been introduced while investigations and repairs are carried out. Our team is currently assessing the fault and working to restore the pump to service as quickly as possible. Specialist contractors have been notified and repair arrangements are being progressed. Customer Impact

  • Navigation through Fosse Locks is currently suspended.
  • Boaters are advised not to plan passage through the lock flight until further notice.
  • An update will be issued once repairs have been assessed and an estimated reopening date is available.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank customers for their patience while we work to resolve the issue.

Conditions can change. Check local signage and the latest official notice before travelling.
