Ongoing Overnight closures at Commercial Road, Lock 12, Salmon Lane Lock 11 and Mile End Lock 9 between 2.00pm and 9am

Please be advised that due to the continued low water levels, the ongoing overnight closures at Mile End Lock, Salmon Road Lock and Commercial Road Lock between 14:00 and 09:00 have been extended. Although we may see some rainfall and the heatwave is now behind us, we are still experiencing the effects of the drought. The situation will be reviewed on Monday 19th October and a further update will be provided at that time. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding during this time.

Please be advised we will be extending the ongoing overnight stoppages at Mile End Lock, Salmon Road Lock and Commercial Road Lock to run between 14:00 and 09:00 to assist with our water management and conservation efforts and to help maintain navigational Safety during this period of drought.
