Diving operations will be taking place at the Bath Deep Lock pumping station inlet, located behind the lock landing on the river, to assess the existing inlet and determine any modifications required for the installation of a fish screen.
To allow the diving works to be carried out safely, the lock and river lock landing will be unavailable between 09:00 and 11:30, and between 13:00 and 15:30. Boats may use the lock before 09:00, between 11:30 and 13:00, and after 15:30.
These restrictions are necessary to prevent unexpected flows and vessel movements in the vicinity of the divers.
