Please could boaters be aware that spot dredging is due to start on Monday, 10th August, on the Calder and Hebble Navigation and will continue until Monday, 21st September.

Works are scheduled as follows but dates are subject to change, should delays occur:

Ganny Lock & Red Beck 13/08 - 26/08

Anchor Pit 27/08 - 01/09

Battye Cut End 01/09 - 03/09

Greenwood 03/09 - 08/09

Long Cut End 09/09 - 11/09

Cooper Bridge (Flood gates) 14/09 - 15/09

Ledgard (Flood gates) 17/09 - 18/09

Boating customers may be asked to wait up to 30 minutes for safe passage and/or any equipment to be moved where necessary. All works are intended to improve the channel and clear extensive siltation.
