Contractors working on behalf of the Local Authority are replacing the footbridge connecting West Park to Broad Street, Long Eaton between 24th June until 21st September between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
This work is being undertaken using a floating pontoon to cross the canal for access to both work sites. The pontoon will be moved promptly to ensure the navigation is not restricted. The site contact number is 07867 162931 there will also be site contact numbers published on site. Mooring is not allowed within the 70 metre site compound area during this time.
The towpath which is a public right of way has been closed by the local highways authority until August 23rd.
Please be aware of increased activity in the area.
