Navigation is currently restricted at Lock 4 on the Glasson Branch due to a failed paddle which combined with leakage on the cill impacts operations.
Our teams will continue to monitor the location, and over the winter months we will be planning further investigations along with more permanent repair works to the lock during our winter works programme.
In the meantime, Lock 4 may only be operated by a minimum of two people. This measure is necessary to ensure the safe operation of the lock.
