We would like to advise our customers that contractor Balfour Beatty working on behalf of National Grid will be working approximately 300 metres south of bridge 134 installing a drainage headwall on the offside of the canal.
The headwall is part of the surface water drainage system taking water from the National Grid site nearby into the canal.
Please observe signs and approach with caution, follow any instructions from the contractor.
These works are not on the towpath side and the navigation will remain fully open.
