Sawley Flood Lock 1

The gate anchor replacement works on the topside gates at Sawley Flood Lock 1 have been extended to Friday, 14th August.

Please expect delays of up to 45 minutes during these works, follow any advice given and proceed with care.

We will be carrying out gate anchor replacement works on the topside gates at Sawley Flood Lock 1 between Monday 6th and Friday 24th July.

Please expect delays of up to 45 minutes during these works and follow any guidance given by the team on site.

Should the Upper Trent go into flood while these works are in progress, this will become a full stoppage as the topside gates will be out of operation.
