Further to the notice below, please be advised that contractors require the car park to carry out essential repairs to the Purton Tilting Weir as part of a joint investment with Bristol Water.

These works will help restore this critical water supply asset and maintain a high level of resilience.

Please note that the canoe/paddleboard launch point will be also closed during this period.   Parking in Purton village is limited. If you need to park in the village, please do so considerately and avoid blocking residents driveways or footpaths.
