Update history

Fri, May 29

We have extended this notice as the sunken vessel is still in place.

Tue, Feb 17

Please be advised that the sunken boat partially obstructing the navigation is still in this location. Widebeams may still have difficulty passing, due to offside vegetation and the depth/shallows on offside passage.

Tue, Sep 23

There is a sunken boat that is sticking out into the navigation and will hinder passage downstream of the A10 bridge between Ware and Hertford.

The boat is on its side and lodged on the ground. Offside vegetation may restrict passage and we cannot see the depths on the offside. Widebeams may have a problem passing.

Be aware of the obstruction and the likely difficulty for wide beams passing, due to offside vegetation and depth/shallows on offside passage

Conditions can change. Check local signage and the latest official notice before travelling.
