Eastwood (Sir Frank Price) Lock

Eastwood Lock is still only running on one sluice on the upstream. Divers have been to site today (08/04/2025) to investigate the issue. The defective sluice has been closed, but the lock will require dewatering to fully repair. Navigation is still possible but please beware that it will take longer for the lock to fill. We will update this notice when engineers can advise when a stoppage will take place.

Eastwood Lock is currently running on one sluice on the upstream. The inoperable sluice appears to have something catching on the sluice mechanism which is preventing full closure. Divers are booked to attend site on Tuesday (8th April 2025) when there will be a full closure imposed to allow the divers to investigate the issue. We will give an update on the status of Eastwood Lock by 4pm on the 8th April.
