Doncaster Cheswold High Bridge to Doncaster Lock

We have just been informed that the bridge has now collapsed on the side closest to HMP Doncaster.
Doncaster Council is currently enforcing a footpath closure in the area.
Please can boaters in the area be aware and avoid the bridge.
This notice will be updated on Monday, no later that 17:00

The towpath is currently closed due to structural damage to Cheswold Bridge, making it unsafe for use at this time.
We will provide updates once repairs have been scheduled.
